How do credits work?
Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered enhancement tools. Each operation costs 1–6 credits depending on complexity. Standard editing tools (crop, rotate, resize, compress, format conversion) are always free.
What happens to unused credits?
On Starter and Pro plans, unused credits roll over each month and accumulate up to 3x your monthly allocation (Starter: max 900 credits, Pro: max 2,400 credits). Business plan credits do not roll over. All subscription credits remain valid as long as your subscription is active — they only expire if you cancel.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes! You can purchase pay-as-you-go credit packages anytime. These credits never expire and can be used alongside your subscription. While you hold pay-as-you-go credits, your account gets Starter-level access and limits — 64 MP / 50 MB uploads, 25-image batches, 50 jobs per day, and 8x upscaling — even without a subscription. Subscribing stays the better value for ongoing use: $9/month gets you 300 credits every month, versus 100 credits once for $9.
Do I get watermarked images on the free tier?
No. Every plan including the free one gives you watermark-free results — every free credit produces a clean image. Watermarks only appear if you use a tool without signing in; creating a free account removes them.
What resolution do free downloads come at?
Free downloads are capped at 1200px on the longest edge — enough to judge the result, but below what most print, marketplace, and listing requirements need. We always process and keep your image at full resolution, so upgrading unlocks the full-size file immediately, including every result you already made. Nothing needs reprocessing and no credits are spent again.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period, after which unused credits will expire.
Which plan includes API access?
API access is available on Pro and Business tiers. Each has different rate limits and request volumes.
How does batch processing work?
Batch processing allows you to upload and process multiple images simultaneously. Each tier has different batch size limits (25, 100, 500 images, or unlimited). Each image in the batch consumes credits based on the operations applied.
What image formats are supported?
All tiers support JPG, PNG, and WebP.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. Unused credits are handled according to the new tier's rollover policy.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
Yes! Annual plans save 22% compared to monthly billing across all subscription tiers.
Is there a limit to image size?
Free: up to 40 MP or 25 MB for standard editing tools (crop/resize, format conversion, compression); most AI tools are 5-8 MP. Starter and Pro: up to 64 MP or 50 MB for everything. No, API access requires an active subscription (Pro tier or higher). Pay-as-you-go credits unlock Starter-level features in the web app, but the REST API still requires a Pro or Business subscription.
